Last year, each sao of flowers after deducting investment costs, farmers earned about 50 million VND/sao, so this year people hope that from now until Tet the weather will be stable so that the flowers can grow and develop well and expect to sell at a high price. Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - Agricultural officer of Xuan Truong commune, Xuan Loc district said: These days, flower farmers in the commune regularly visit the fields and the Commune People's Committee has also coordinated with the Farmers' Association to regularly visit the fields when there are unusual signs to have a solution. This year, farmers use the same flower varieties as every year to store in cold storage and use for the next crop without having to buy seeds from Da Lat, but farmers produce the seeds themselves. To serve the Tet At Ty 2025, farmers in Xuan Truong commune, Xuan Loc district planted over 30 hectares of flowers, mainly gladiolus with many colors such as: red, yellow, pink, orange... concentrated in Trung Son and Trung Tin hamlets. In addition to applying science and technology to the production of Tet flowers, farmers here also proactively produce their own seeds, thereby reducing investment costs. Growing Tet flowers is the most anticipated crop of the year for farmers with the hope of having a successful crop.
